I picked my Panther kit up from GTS on 24th June 2006 after about 18months of trying to decide whether to scratch build or buy. Once I had made the decision to buy, there was no competition in which manufacturer to choose. The GTS styling appealed to me more than others, and the quality of the parts second to none and the price was within my budget. Many of the problem areas on other kits have been addressed in the GTS Panther, one of the most prominent and most important being the fit and finish of the bodywork.
In a testament to the ease of building my Panther is now almost ready for SVA some 11months later. However the actual build has took place across less than 4 months as I have been at university for most of the time. By the end of the first 2 months the car was rolling, another month later the running gear was all fitted and most of the bodywork finished. The final month saw the finishing touches and SVA preparation.
My Panther may not be the most advanced one to be at this stage (what with the pinto up front and a fat pair of carbs) but the whole build will come in at less than £6,000 on the road. For the money there won't be much that will touch the performance and handling of the Panther.
Darren has always been on hand to answer questions and resolve minor issues, and I have always had a prompt and friendly service that cannot be faulted. I would recommend GTS and the Pather to anyone considering buying a 'seven' type sports car, you won't be dissappointed!

Having contacted Darren and getting a great response, I decided to buy a Panther deluxe starter kit.
