This is the chromed bonnet strip that runs down the centre of the bonnet and forms the hinge on which the two bonnet halves hang.
It is made from heavy brass and chrome plated. It is an exact replica of the original equipment.
The strip needs to be cut to length with a hacksaw to suit your bonnet length, this is an easy diy operation.
