This is suitable for the later cars - approximate year of registration 1958 onwards, although if your car is a 1957 or 1958 you might want to check first what is fitted to your car.
This Bush is much larger in diameter than the rear bush. Please note that the hole for this bush is in the centre of the bush. You may be expecting an off centre hole - however if you check the bush coming off your car you will notice that it now has a central hole! Both the off centre original bush and these metric equivalents are suitable for your car.

The bush is not unused old stock but a modern metric equivalent.
The outside diameter of the bush is correct but sometimes a member's bolt is a little wider or narrower than usual. and the bush doesn't slide on smoothly. If this happens to you, don't panic. You can very easily ream out the centre or fit a sleeve and the integrity of the bush is unaffected. Very rarely, the bush is a little longer than there is space on the bolt - this is a variation in your bolt, not the bush. Unfortunately, you will need to cut a little off the end of the bush for a good fit.
